Adrian Wong Shue

Adrian Wong Shue was a world-renowned mixed-race (Chinese/Jamaican) artist known for his ability to create meaningful art that showcased the unique fusion of influences from his diverse heritage, training, and life experiences. Wong Shue’s art included thousands of paintings, oils on canvas, gouaches, acrylics and mixed media, drypoints, etchings, aquatints, intaglio, and sculptures. Wong Shue exhibited in elite galleries and museums in several countries, and his work continues to be sought after by private collectors throughout the world. Wong Shue developed his own style of vivid imagery, often figurative in nature. Viewing Wong Shue’s art takes one on a walk through the artist’s personal museum, with different styles dominating each decade of his life. One common thread throughout was the artist’s ability to elicit a sense of intrigue and curiosity about the stories behind the images.

Rudy Cole is a Panamanian artist living in Pasadena, California producing charcoal drawings, 3D paper collages, mixed media works, and portraits by commission. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and sold to private collections far and wide. Interested in art since the age of seven, Rudy finished his education in the arts in 2007 at the age of fifty-four. Developing a style all his own, Rudy mixes photorealistic charcoal figures and silhouettes with paper collage to create 3D scenes bursting with color and patterns.
